Our gibbons, Knuppy, Yuna, Wody and Jupp, are ambassadors for the protection of their species in the rainforests of Southeast Asia. In fact, white-handed gibbons are now practically only still found in designated conservation areas, where they have an important role to play in the survival of the forest. Here at botanika, the animals are safe from threats like deforestation and poachers – and have already made friends with some humans.
