Tours
Important information regarding tours: Reservation in advance required, minimum 15 people. For smaller groups, the guided tour of botanika and the guided park walk cost €50 each, the guided park tour costs €125.00.

RHODODENDRON-PARK AND BOTANICAL GARDEN
The Rhododendron-Park is open for visitors to enjoy walks all year round. The Botanical Garden is open daily from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Useful tip: This is also where you can find the park’s public toilets (at the main entrance in Marcusallee).
BLOOM RESTAURANT
The Bloom restaurant is currently open as follows:
Monday to Friday: 11:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Saturday, Sunday and public holidays: 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
DOGS IN THE PARK AND BOTANIKA
Dogs are welcome in the Rhododendron-Park on a short lead. Unfortunately, they are not allowed in botanika or the Botanical Garden.
How to reach us and parking options
By bus, tram or bicycle
When arriving from Bremen Central Station, take the no. 4 or 4S tram in the direction of Borgfeld/Falkenberg and get off at the Horner Kirche or Bürgermeister-Spitta-Allee stop. From there, you can continue on foot or change to the no. 31 bus and get off at the Rhododendron-Park stop (main entrance). From all stops, it is just a short walk to botanika in the park.
By car or coach
You can reach us via the A27 by taking the Vahr exit and following the signs for Rhododendron-Park/botanika. The coach turning area is in Marcusallee directly in front of the main entrance to the Rhododendron-Park (address for satnav: Marcusallee 38B). The coach parking spaces are in Marcusallee in the direction of the motorway.
There are car parking spaces available in Deliusweg (address for satnav: Deliusweg 38, or Google Plus Code: 3VVJ+32 Bremen) and in Marcusallee (Google Plus Code: 3VQV+PPM Bremen). At weekends and on public holidays, it’s best for you to park in the school car park in Ronzelenstraße (Google Plus Code 3VWG+2RH Bremen).
Services/ accessibility
Sanitary facilities
Visitor toilets, baby changing facilities and disabled toilets with an emergency system (accessible with the Euro key) are available through the Bloom restaurantand in botanika. In addition, there are public toilets available to visitors to the park at the main entrance in Marcusallee from spring through to autumn.
Accessibility
Our disabled parking spaces are located in the car park in Deliusweg, just a few minutes’ walk from the botanika entrance. The Discovery Centre and large areas of botanika’s greenhouses are easily accessible for wheelchair users and people with impaired mobility for the most part. Disabled toilets and a lift are available. Wheelchairs can be borrowed from the botanika ticket office against a deposit and used both in the park and to visit botanika. The Bloom restaurant is also suitable for wheelchair users.
